Bionaire BCH3620-U Tower Ceramic Heater with Digital Control

Warm and toasty, but occasionally inaccurate
I bought this heater at Costco for $43 last week. It is quiet, well put together, and really warms the room. My only complaint is that the digital thermostat frequently displays an inaccurate temperature -- like 74 when it's actually 69 degrees. I know because I put a second thermostat next to the unit just to see. While this is annoying (especially when you have to get out of bed into a cold room rather than a nice and warm room), I'm pretty happy overall, and have just learned to set the target temperature higher (like 76 degrees) to compensate.

Bionaire Ceramic Heater
We bought 2 of these ceramic heaters; 1 is perfect and works well, the other 1 has made noise since we got it (although it does heat well) and when we called Bionaire to try to get it repaired or replaced, we were told we couldn't do so. We don't think we'd buy these heaters again for that reason, although they do work pretty well. We don't feel the customer service and followup is good on these products.

Best Heater I've Ever Owned
I've been using small heaters like this for 15 years, and this one is by far the best. I see that one guy on here got a defective unit, and that's a bummer. He should have returned it and gotten a new one, because this thing is fantastic. It's quieter than any other heater I've owned, and it works perfectly all the time. I've been using this heater for a year now, and have had no problems whatsoever.

The remote control is what makes this an instant favorite for me. Usually when I wake up in the morning I'm really cold and don't want to get out of bed. No problem... I just reach for the remote control and turn the heater on high. Within minutes it's warm, and I'm ready to roll out of bed.

If you're looking for a small heater for a single room (or studio apt), then (in my opinion) this is by far the best choice.
