There are better
First time this was used, it stripped the wax off the floor; this was not an intended result! Second use, the steamer took a long time to heat up and barely got hot. On the third use, water leaked from the back of the steamer and it hardly got warm. So, in less then 3 weeks and 3 uses, this unit has failed and will be returned.
I was apprehensive about purchasing a this B&D product since the other B&D model has (sm1620) has several one star reviews. Guess we will look at Shark or other brand. Very disappointed

This product was shown, in the vidio, to clean with steam. The steam came out everywhere and when the floor dried there were no streaks. In real life... the amount of steam was minimal due to only one steam jet and the floors, mine are dark hard woods, were full of streaks! It was hard to push however the pad did stay in place. Save your money. I have found the Swiffer to be the best without streaking. I rate this product a D-.
Black and Decker Steam Mop.
Since having knee problems I needed to find alternate to cleaning my kitchen floor. I have found it to be the best result since not able to scrub my floors on my hands & knees.
