Sensio Bella 13563 4 Slot Pie Maker, Almond

Awesome mini pies in 10 minutes
This is a nifty appliance that makes pies in as little as ten minutes. The pies are pretty small though; they are smaller than the frozen pot pies sold by Marie Calender's, Banquet, or Stouffers. I did my first test run today using one of the pie filling recipes in the instruction manual. They have a recipe to make the pie dough as well, but I used some premade refrigerated dough from the grocery store and it worked great.

You need to roll out the dough and use the pastry cutters provided to cut out circles for the bottom and top of the pie. These dough pieces fit well in the given slots and it was very easy to assemble my pies. I set the timer for ten minutes, then checked on the pies, and they were done perfectly. They held up well and came out in one piece... though I did leave my dough slightly thicker than the recommended thickness because I was tired of rolling.

All in all, I'm very impressed with my pie maker. It works well and does exactly what it says it...

Sensio Bella Pie Maker
Makes good pies in a matter of minutes if you use premade pie crusts and have canned filling or frozen filling to use. Follow directions closely and consider covering top of pies with small rounds of parchment paper to keep them from browning too much. I plan on trying it for other things as well!

My husband thought pies were delicious and wanted me to make more very soon!

Love my pie maker
I received this item as a Christmas gift and love it. Pies only take 10-12 mins to make and they come out golden and piping hot. The filling has to be cooled before making pies. I can't wait to try all the different combos of pie I can make. It's very easy to clean and doesn't take up much counter space. I'm even gonna make lasagna cups. Can't wait!
